Nitra

Project Overview

Nitra runs the back office for healthcare practices: spend management, payments, procurement, and the operational work that keeps a practice running. After a year of fast growth in 2025, the company was moving past its roots as a healthcare fintech provider and into something bigger: an AI-powered operating system for healthcare operations, built for everyone from single physician offices to multi-location groups and PE-backed systems. The Series B was the moment to make that shift public. Ditto was brought in to make sure the announcement did more than report a number. The goal was to change how the market saw Nitra: less credit cards, more AI infrastructure for healthcare.

Approach

Ditto started with the story. Working with Nitra's leadership, the team built a messaging framework that explained what Nitra is now, how its AI automates financial and operational work across a practice, and why that sets it apart from companies that are only healthcare or only fintech. CEO Tim Hwang was positioned as the primary voice, with Jonathan Chen and Johnathan Kim ready as subject-matter experts. Ditto coordinated with investors on quotes and interview availability and prepped Tim for the conversations ahead.

In the weeks before the news, Ditto ran a LinkedIn push for Nitra's executives so the AI operating system story was already in market when reporters started looking.

For the announcement itself, Ditto pitched the news under embargo to Tier One business outlets and healthcare trades at the same time. That way the story reached both enterprise healthcare buyers and the broader AI and investor audience. The pitch led with the numbers that proved the shift was real: $187M raised across multiple rounds and more than $1 billion in processing volume.

Results

Nitra's announcement landed with Tier One coverage across business and healthcare media, including:

Every piece described Nitra the way the company wanted to be seen. Reuters led with "AI-native platform for healthcare practices." MedCity framed it as simplifying the business of running a practice. Modern Healthcare followed a week later, putting Nitra at the top of its funding roundup.

The coverage gave Nitra a new public baseline. The AI operating system story now shows up first, in the outlets that healthcare executives, investors, and enterprise buyers read. That's the foundation for the enterprise growth, partnerships, and investor conversations that come next.
